The advantages & disadvantages of blogging in the English Classroom.

Blogging in the english classroom have many advantage,because it is a great tool to practice, reading and writing, also it's enjoyable, because we can write about thingsinteresting like art, music, places, etc.

Whit the blogging my vocabulay grew up, it was great. the blogging help at the class.

The disadvantage about blogging in the classrom was than that part of the class, many people go out and don’t make de post, and i always was late whit the post like right now.

Many time i don’t have time to make the post, because i was working to others class or simply i forgeret, and always i have to make all the post on the same day and that it’s a big disadvantage. Well that it isn’t a disadvantage of the blogging it’s mine, because i’m lazy and i don’t use my free time. I have to change that bacause that just give me trouble and always i’m hurried and worried, that it’s a bad thing.

About the blogging just can i say it’s a great help to learn english, it don’t have disadvantage, just than everybody can see your blog and your fail, an that can be a little uncomfortable to some people, but out of that blogging on the english classroom don’t have disadvantage, just advantage. It’s a different and enjoyable way to learn the languaje.

The next year i want take english four and i hope we follow using the blogging in the class or maybe i follow writing in the blog to practice…… mmmm i don’t think so, no, i will make it other things and maybe i will write on the blog if I have to do it, what can i say, i’m a lazy man.

Blogs

I watch the classmate's blogs, and can see that many of theydont post anymore and theirs blogs are a little boring, because dont have photos and it's tedious read it, but there are many blogs that i liked, like the Daniella's blog, Gabriel's blog, Nancy's blog and Kate's blog. Those blogs are very entertaining, it have many photos and pictures and I liked.

About the Daniella's blog I liked so much the female chilean team, I know that at she liked the sports, and everybody can see that with this post.

In Gabriel's blog I liked his post aboaut his designer, because the pics from Alien (the movie) are great and i liked the design work of that movie. Here there's a pic, this one i liked so much.


Nancy's blog i liked very very much the post about Valparaiso, I liked because I love this place and when I go to there always it's nice. The hills and the sea and all the city it's great. I have many great memories of Valparaiso.



In Kate's blog i liked his post about Guayasamin, and the picture I liked so much, because i give this picture at my father (a replic of course). i like very much the Guayasamin works.

full of flowers desert

The most beutifull place in chile I think is the full of flowers desert, I was in there when i was a child and you can see flowers all arounds, when before there's just dry ground.

I went with my family, I that moment we went to Santiago (in that moment we lived in Chañaral), because we went to the celebration of uncle's dad 50th marriage aniversary.

We was in the road when we saw flowers, flower red ,yellow, purple, white. that was amazing. we have to stop, take many photos and walk between the flowers that was very nice, I never forget that it's a beautifull remember.

Echoes

I choose this work of art, is the cover record of echoes by the one of my favourite bands, Pink Floyd. These discs join the best of Pink Floyd, and the cover join element from all theirs albums, you can see the hammers from the album The Wall, the burnt man from the album Wish You Were Here, between others.

This work of art I saw for first time when my cousin’s cousin shows me the disc, that happened at 2 years ago. I like too much this album and I like the cover too.

This album is especial because always I listen Pink Floyd, at my father likes Pink Floyd too and when I was child I remember all weekend listen Pink Floyd with my dad, this things make me remember my childhood, it’s a little nostalgic, but I like it

Designer

I choose this designer because I like his work, his name is Ron Arad. He born in 1951 in Tel Aviv, he is an industrial designer, artist and architect. He went to the Art Academy of Jerusalem between 1971 and 1973 and he went to the architectonic association of London between 1974 and 1979. He has make furniture and light design to many companies like Alessi, Vitra, Flos, Artemide and Kartell.

His most famous works are in many museum’s collection, like, museum of Metropolitan Art of New York, Georges Pompidou Center in Paris, Victoria and Albert Museum of London y Vitra Design Museum of Germany.

Now he is the head of product design at the Royal University of the Arts.

I like his work because he always makes experiments with the materials, he looks new shape with different materials. He to take advantage of the qualities of the materials.

These are some his work’s pieces, first this chair I like it because he use a flexible materials to make it,

and this one (it’s a kind of couch) I like its shape, here use a solid materials like steel to make it, it’s a little cold but it’s a great couch.

Ron Arad is a very smart designer.

Television

I like many pieces of technology, radio, computer, mp3 player, but I think than my favourite piece of technology is the television.

I don’t know when the first time I watched TV, but my earliest memories are with me watching television.

I watch TV every day, I wake up watching TV and I go to sleep watching TV, I can watch TV all day making zapping. I like watch all kind of programs and TV shows, I like so much cartoons, I’m a great fun of Cartoon Network, Jetix (ex-Fox Kids), Nickelodeons and Disney Channel, in this channels I watch TV shows like Avatar (the legend of Aang), Naruto, Dragon Ball (the first season, Z and GT), Sponge Bob, Wolverine and the X-Men, etc. But I watch other shows like Overhauling, Scared, MythBusters, Late Night with Conan O’Bryan, Friends, Two and a Half Man, between others. And of course, I watch many movies.

I watch TV basically for entertainment, but I watch for information too. I watch the news every day, because I like watch the sports news and the weather for to know how dress me the next day.

I don’t know why I like so much the television, maybe it’s because I grew up watching TV.

When I think how would be my life without television, I can see me like a sportsman or a brilliant student, it’s funny I know than television make me a lazy man, but I like it.  

War 4 Peace

It’s very difficult to say “what is my favourite song”, but I can say in this moment there’s a song than I hear every day and I like so much, the song is called “War 4 Peace” by a band from Tijuana, Mexico “Los de Abajo”. This song is from their album called “Latin Ska Force”, and it’s a very nice song, you can dance with this song because it has a rhythm ska and of course it’s a song with social lyrics.

I hear it for the first time in my home at one month ago; I hear it because a friend told me about this band (Los de Abajo), he said me than it was a very good band and he told me about their lyrics and music style, and I downloaded some songs by the band and all songs I liked, but this one I liked so much.

A few days ago i look this page and it’s a nice place and a great tool to learn English. There are many activities and exercises to do. “Football Quiz” is an activity very funny, it’ has three levels, here you have to answer some questions and if you have three right you make a goal. In this activity all question are about football that is great and it make easier to learn because the activity is like a game and if you win you learn.

There’s another activity “The Flatmates”, it’s a little serie about four flatmate (of course) and it shows differents situations about their lives. This activity is very nice because you can learn vocabulary applied in differents context.
